Joe Reither
Managing Director
Joe’s dream of establishing a high quality training organisation based in the South West has become a reality, through the development and growth of Nara Training & Assessing.
Director, Joe Reither, has extensive work expertise in a wide range of areas in the construction industry including dogging, rigging, scaffolding and plant, gained over a period of 30 years.
Joe’s significant industry knowledge and experience is reflected in the high standard and reputation that Nara Training & Assessing stands for.
Joe manages the strategic direction of the company and is proactive in seeking out opportunities for growth and development
Joe is an excellent communicator; with strong ethical values, including honesty, integrity and accountability. Through his friendly and approachable demeanour, he leads by example, bringing out the best in his team and his students.
Kaye Reither
Financial Director
Kaye, together with her husband Joe, established Nara Training & Assessing in 1996, and has been integral in taking the business from a small home operation to the successful training organisation that it is today.
As the Corporate Manager, Kaye manages the administration of Nara Training & Assessing. With the assistance of the Administration Manager, she oversees the smooth operation of the office and its administrative tasks.
Kaye is committed to the continued growth of Nara Training & Assessing, assisting Joe in the strategic functions of outlining future growth areas and partnership opportunities.
Kaye is an honest and ethical person who takes pride in delivering a personal and friendly service to staff and clients alike.
Deanna Ward
Business Manager
Deanna joined the team in October 2011 and has brought in her expertise in the field of learning design, including face to face as well as e-learning technologies and adult learning principles. She wasformerly a lecturer at Edith Cowan University delivering business units as well as digital communication skills. She then moved into professional development running ECUs leadership program for several years.
Deanna has a Masters in Professional Communications, Diploma in Management and Cert IV in Training and Assessment. She is also a qualified life coach and personality profiler.
Deanna will be designing, delivering and managing Nara’s Frontline Management and Trainer and Assessor programs as well as assisting in the running and management of the registered training organisation.
Greg Baker
Training & Assessing Manager
Greg has been working with Nara Training & Assessing from the company’s conception. Greg’s role as a training consultant involves the training and assessment of participants in a variety of training courses. He also carries out worksite audits and reports on safety issues.
Greg has near 40 years of experience within the occupational health and safety, forestry, construction and transport industry. He held a position as a WorkSafe Inspector for thirteen years, is an advanced rigger and scaffolder, a registered builder and carpenter, and WorkSafe accredited assessor.
Greg holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, as well as a Diploma of Building.
Greg is held in high regard within the industry and is always available to offer advice and support to students and clients alike, having a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Matt Reither
Trainer & Assessing Manager
Matt has worked as a Rigger / Scaffolder in British Columbia Canada and all over WA on various construction sites onshore and offshore. Matt also has experience as a Rope Access Technician and has spent time working in the Maintenance and Mining Industry. Matt is an accredited WorkSafe Assessor and holds is Cert IV in Training & Assessing and is continually contributing to the growth of Nara Training & Assessing.
Roslyn Franklin
Quality Coordinator
Roslyn joined us in August 2012 and brings over 10 years experience in the health industry as a dental practioner and 6 years in the VET sector. She manages the quality of training and assessment materials, assists the Business manager and manages the scope.
Cayla Priest
Traineeship Coordinator
Cayla joined us in April 2013 . Cayla has worked in customer service, administration, class room based training and management of traineeships and holds certificates in Certificate IV in Business and a Certificate IV in Human Relations. Cayla is a dedicated and professional employee who always strives to ensure that her management is smooth, efficient, worthwhile and provides the best outcome for each trainee. Tobi Harling
Administrative Officer
Tobi commenced working for Nara Training & Assessing in administration in March 2008, soon becoming a valued member of the team. During her time with Nara Training & Assessing Tobi has completed a Certificate III in Business and has developed exceptional administration skills.
Tobi has returned part-time to Nara after maternity leave and assists our Traineeship Coordinator and can be contacted via email: trainees@naratraining.com.au
Rishi Oregioni
Trainer & Assessor
Rishi Oregioni is a Worksafe trainer assessor of high risk work and been with Nara training and assessing since early 2011. Rishi started in the construction industry in 1999 as a scaffolder/rigger and has worked in a variety of roles within the industry including supervision, project planning and estimating. His experience has taken him to varied fields across western Australia in the mining, construction and maintenance industry’s and has now moved into full time training to pass on some of his extensive knowledge to others.
Rishi holds a Cerificate IV training and assessment is very knowledgeable in the high risk area and is always available to give advice on industry matters.
Dale Clark
Trainer & Assessor
Dale has been scaffolding and rigging for 13 years now. During the 13 years he has worked all over WA on construction and maintenance sites and also worked in London as a scaffolder and one and a half years as a rope technician. Dale is now a accredited WorkSafe Assessor for High Risk Work.
Dale holds his Cert IV Training & Assessing and continues to contribute to Nara with his industry skills.
Jay Clark
Trainer & Assessor
Jay completed his Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship in 1999 and has worked in Mine Maintenance up North, South West and overseas. He has had his Dogging and Rigging tickets for 12 years and used them extensively through my maintenance career.
Jay holds is Cert IV in Training & Assessing and is a great asset to the business.
Andrew Garland
Trainer & Assessor
Andrew joined us in August 2012 and completed his Cert IV Training & Assessing on site. Andrew is a qualified fitter and brings with him a wealth of knowledge.
Ricky Nairn
Trainer & Assessor
Ricky joined us in Novemeber 2012 and has many years of experience in Civil construction, the Mining industry and in Forestry machinery operations. Ricky recently upgraded his Cert IV Training & Assessing qualification on site.
Fleur Harker
Administrative Officer
Fleur Harker, the welcoming face and voice of Nara Training & Assessing. When you call in or phone, Fleur will be most probably the first person that you speak to.
Peter Dittrich
Financial Controller
Peter joined Nara Training & Assessing in August 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy as well having as a strong background in First Aid and Training & Assessing.
